I got into search engine optimization through my first business website, it was an ecommerce Lingerie site (yes I sold atrakcyjny fizycznie Lingerie). The sites traffic quickly dropped to around 1,000 visitors per day (most from Yahoo) where it remains to this day.. Unfortunately I used a blackhat SEO technique called odnośnik spamming/blog comment spamming that resulted in Google completely banning the site Nov 2003. In the first year of learning SEO my first site was receiving on average 5,000 visitors per day and peaked at 8,000 visitors per day (was in the top 10 for the Lingerie SERP on all major search engines for example).
